This article contains recommended troubleshooting steps to take if you are unable to complete an incremental sync on MarketTime Pro (mtPro).
Syncing Issues- How to Troubleshoot:
General Syncing Issues:
1. Confirm your device is connected to WiFi.
2. Confirm your iPad has at least 50% battery and your iPad settings are set to Auto-lock = Never.
3. Close the MarketTime Pro App and re-open the app.
4. Close the MarketTime Pro App and turn off the iPad completely. Then turn the iPad back on and re-open the Markettime Pro App before attempting another sync.
5. Navigate to the Find Orders screen and see if there are any unsynced or errant orders with a red error message listed. You can filter for these orders from the “View” drop-down in the top righthand corner of the Find Orders page. If any errors show, follow instructions to correct before attempting to sync again.
6. If you have done all of the above and are still receiving an error message, please reach out to support@markettime.com and provide the following information:
- Confirm the steps you have already taken to attempt to resolve the issue on your own
- Include a screenshot of your login page with your username and license information
Syncing Error - Data Synchronization Failed:
If you are receiving the error seen in the below screenshot, please follow these steps to troubleshoot.
1. Click on your name at the top of the screen and logout/switch user to return to your login screen.
2. Press and hold down on the blue cog wheel icon beneath for your version number for 4-5 seconds.
3. A new window should appear where you should see an option at the bottom that says 'Remove Customer Pricing Changes'. Please click the exclamation point icon on the listing and hit the 'Done' button at the top.
4. Try hitting the Sync Data Button once more
5. If you have done all of the above and are still receiving an error message, please reach out to support@markettime.com and provide the following information:
- Confirm the steps you have already taken to attempt to resolve the issue on your own
- Include a screenshot of your login page with your username and license information
- Include a screenshot of the error message you are seeing
User Account Permissions
In order to ensure user permissions set in the Web App (https:/apps.markettime.com) flow into the MarketTime Pro app, the following must be done:
NOTE: THIS INCLUDES THE ABILITY TO ADD NEW CUSTOMERS WITHIN THE APP, SO THESE STEPS MUST BE PERFORMED. IF YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO ADD NEW CUSTOMERS WITHIN THE APP, PLEASE READ THIS SECTION.
- Each user who will be using mtPro must log into the Web App and update their User Settings. We recommend updating the Default Order Code.
- The user must then complete a sync on their MarketTime Pro app
