This guide aims to provide you with the supplemental information you'll need during your transition to MarketTime when it comes time to set up your B2B website.
General Notes
As you make your transition to MarketTime, and begin populating the system with data - items and their images*, catalogs, promotions, and more, this information can be made visible to your company as well as your retailers on your B2B site without having to re-enter this information. In many instances, there is a toggle button that allows you to choose whether or not something should be shown on your B2B site or not. This article is a good starting point to review some of the basics.
*Items and images in the Brandwise system will transfer to MarketTime as part of your transition.

Beautification
The first step to getting your B2B Website up and running is to make it presentable to your customers.
This begins with adding logos, banners, and your preferred color scheme.
- Company Info – Here you can fill out basic information about your company and add a Splash image.
- Color Theme - Here you can see where to set your Primary and Secondary colors across your site, allowing you to make your site branded with your preferred colors.
- B2B Image Templates - This resource shows you what images you can place across your B2B Website, and what sizes are required. We recommend at least a main Banner image for your homepage to start.
Categories
MarketTime offers two distinct ways to categorize products on your B2B Website.
Both options begin with Category Groups. Category Groups are the highest level of categorization and offer browsability from virtually anywhere on the site.
Once these are set up, proceed below.
Categories by Manufacturer
If you prefer to display your Manufacturers by category rather than categorizing each item, set your Category Group Type to Manufacturer on the Theme tab of your B2B Settings.
With this set, you may use the Category Groups (Maintenance > Category Groups) screen to assign each Manufacturer to the Category Group(s) you desire.
The video below outlines this process:
Categories by Items
If you prefer to categorize your items individually, leave the Category Group Type set to Category on the Theme tab of your B2B Settings.
With this set, you may use the Category Groups (Maintenance > Category Groups) screen to manage your highest-level categories for your items, then move to the Categories screen to add Categories and their Sub Categories.
Once all Categories you wish to use have been added, you may import your products via Excel to assign them to their respective categories
Rounding Out Your Site
Now that you have the basics set, here are some articles to help round out your site. Remember that for many sections, the data you have in your MarketTime dashboard can also be shown on your B2B site without re-entering or uploading. Look for toggle switches to turn things on and off from your B2B site.
Advanced Settings – Here you can learn to build out some additional sections of your B2B site, for example: ‘what’s trending’ or ‘curated collections’.
Managing Callouts – Here you can learn how to use items to draw attention to your B2B site
Uploading Shoppable Catalogs – Here you will learn how to upload catalogs and make them shoppable
Promotions – This page goes into how promotions work on the MarketTime system as well as making them visible or not on your B2B website.
*Manufacturers/Brands transitioning to MarketTime – there are articles in our Support Center specific to you. While all of this information is relevant, it is focused on an Agency managing the data.
