The information in this guide is focused on Manufacturers with Order Writing/B2B services moving to MarketTime.
Things to Know
Depending on your company's size and current Brandwise products, the things below should be considered:
- Wrap-Up Pending Orders - We recommend wrapping up any Pending orders prior to your transition date. Pending orders will not make their way to MarketTime, so it's important to set these to HFC or Quote to ensure the orders transition successfully. More information about Order Statuses in MarketTime can be found in our dedicated article on the subject.
- Sync all Devices - We recommend that you sync all devices prior to your transition date so the most up-to-date data from each device is included in the transfer
- Prepare communication for Retailers - If you've got a B2B Website, you'll want to inform your retailers there will be a new location to place orders for your company. This can be done in part with our Customer Communication Package.
Utilizing Stream?
If you're a Manufacturer who currently receives orders via Stream Standard and wish to continue to do so, please fill out THIS FORM and we'll enable delivery to Stream. This will ensure all orders coming from Agencies using MarketTime will be in the existing format you expect, including any Credit Card tokens where applicable.
NOTE: This only applies to those on Stream Standard. If you're currently utilizing Stream Basic or Stream Lite and wish to have orders from MarketTime delivered to Stream, please complete the form HERE.
Automating Products into Brandwise?
You should continue providing an automated product/data feed into Brandwise until all your connected Agencies have transitioned to MarketTime. Once that has happened, you can automate updates in a single location.
More information about data management in MarketTime can be found in the "Data Management in MarketTime" section below.
MarketTime Account Creation
Since we'll be moving your data and creating your system for your order writing needs, all you need to do is create a login account.
NOTE: If you already have a MarketTime account to access your Manufacturer data, you do not need to create a new account. Reach out to MarketTime Support at support@markettime.com and they can link you with your new account. See below for how to request.

4. Fill out the requested forms to create your login account and company, then submit your registration.

Data Management in MarketTime
Start Here - This page includes a video walkthrough of the Manufacturer account in MarketTime as well as many helpful articles such as product, catalog, and promotion management, as well as payment processing options (for those not receiving orders in Stream) and order management. Some of this is for informational purposes only. We will be transferring your existing data and images from Brandwise to MarketTime. However, if you want to add more items or make edits, this will be a helpful article.
Take Control of Your Data for Other Agencies - This article gives specific information on how to accomplish this.
Things to Do
The tasks below are the ones you'll want to focus on once you get into MarketTime.
Company Information
- Confirm company info is correct and upload logo - This ensures your company is represented properly on PDF order copies and your B2B Website (if applicable).
Order Information
- Set accepted Payment/Shipping Terms for your brand. - This ensures only the accepted terms appear for your Salespeople and Retailers.
-
Upload Documents (catalogs, etc.). - This includes hot-spotting catalogs.
No Catalogs will not be transferred from Brandwise. This step is required if you intend to use catalogs in the MarketTime system. - Update Email for Orders - This ensures that the right person/people are notified when an order is transmitted.
B2B Website
- Upload Logos, Banners, etc. - This helps "beautify" your B2B Website.
- Enable your Brand for B2B - Toggle your brand to ensure it appears on your website!
Web App Overview Video
The video below outlines all the major screens and features available to a Sales Agency or Manufacturer with an order writing account in the MarketTime Web App (https://apps.markettime.com).
As this is a website, an internet connection is required at all times while using the Web App.
General How-To Section
Managing and Writing Orders (Summary & Line Item)
- View Orders screen (found at 44:36 in the video above) allows you to view all orders you've written, received, or have been added on your behalf.
- Line Item Orders (found at 30:26 in the video above) are the most frequently entered orders in MarketTime. You may also enter Summary Orders (orders with only a Total) if desired as well.
- Unfinished Orders are those that you began, but didn't Finalize.
- Transmitting a Single or Multiple Orders (found at 42:20 and 47:16 in the video above) is how you'll get them sent to Manufacturer or Customers.
View Manufacturer Catalogs/Assets
Found at 13:41 in the video above, the Manufacturer Files screen allows you to browse, download, or share documents you've uploaded.
View/Edit Customers
Found at 25:10 in the video above, the Customers screen allows you to browse and edit existing customers, as well as add new customers, among other features.
Run Reports
The Reports & Analytics screen allows you to run reports to get a better look at your own data.
MarketTime Pro app for iOS
Virtually identical to Brandwise's Play app, MarketTime Pro begins with the same order creation process you're used to, while we continue to add new and useful features over the coming months.
Assign MarketTime Pro Licenses - Assign a license to each user who needs access to write orders on the MarketTime Pro app.
While very similar to Play, there are a few differences that will be important to you:
- MarketTime Pro supports multiple images per product.
- At this time, orders may only be transmitted to the Manufacturer via the Web App. (Info on sending orders can be found at 42:20 and 47:16 in the video above).
- Orders are synced to the Web App immediately when exiting an order (if connected to the internet), so they're safe "in the cloud" and available for your retrieval/management (Found at 44:36 in the video above) at your convenience.
For more detailed information about MarketTime Pro, see our dedicated section of articles on the app.
