MarketTime can facilitate access to Salespeople accounts for Managers (non-Admins) who need access to their data or Assistants who need to see access MarketTime as another Salesperson.
Requesting Access as a Manager
If you are a Manager who needs access to one or multiple Salespeople within your login to toggle between, a request to MarketTime Support will need to be made in the following format:
- Email support@markettime.com with the subject "Manager Login Request".
- Provide the following information within the email:
- Your MarketTime Username (the one used to log into MarketTime)
- The Salespeople IDs of the Salespeople within your Agency you need direct access to (e.g. S1234). Names alone will not suffice and the request will be rejected.
- Express consent from an Admin within your Agency. They should be CC'd on the request to confirm before performing the linking of accounts.
Requesting Access as an Assistant
If you are a Manager who needs access to one or multiple Salespeople within your login to toggle between, a request to MarketTime Support will need to be made in the following format:
- Email support@markettime.com with the subject "Assistant Login Request".
- Provide the following information within the email:
- Your MarketTime Username (the one used to log into MarketTime)
- The Salespeople ID of the Salesperson within your Agency you need direct access to (e.g. S1234). Names alone will not suffice and the request will be rejected.
- Express consent from the Salesperson you need access to within your Agency. They should be CC'd on the request to confirm before performing the linking of accounts.
Things to Know
General
For Managers who need direct access to the data their Salespeople can see, but aren't Admins themselves within their Agency, you can have the ability to switch between the Salespeople you're relevant to when logging in.
The same is true for Assistants who support more than one Salesperson.
Once you've been assisted by Support, when you log into MarketTime, you'll be presented with that list of Salespeople to choose from. Simply click on the row you wish to log in as, and click Select Company.
Once logged in, you will have access to see and manage data as the Salesperson does.
NOTE: For Assistants who only support a single Salesperson, you'll be immediately logged in as that Salesperson, with no need to switch between people.
Toggling Between Salespeople
To toggle between Salespeople, click your name in the top right corner and choose Switch Company to do so.
Order Writing
When writing orders on behalf of the Salesperson, you will appear as the Created By when finalizing the order:
MarketTime Pro Use
If you intend to log into the MarketTime Pro mobile app, a license will need to be assigned to your User Account by one of your Admins, for each Salesperson you may need access to.
It's important to know that this does take a license for each Salesperson you require access to, which counts against your company's total license count.
