MarketTime regularly releases new versions of the MarketTime Pro (mtPro) app into the Apple App Store for iPad. How each user receives the app update will depend on the settings they have configured on their iPad.
Users may have Automatic Updates enabled – which allows the iPad to download the newest version of app as soon as the app has a new update. Other users may have this setting disabled.
If a user does not have the latest version of the MarketTime Pro app and would like to proactively update to the latest version of the app, please follow the direction below.
- Go to app store on iPad and search for "MarketTime Pro"
- The MarketTime Pro app listing will appear as one of the options. Touch within the MarketTime Pro app listing (e.g., on the white icon with the word PRO). This will open up the full-page listing of the MarketTime Pro app.
- Wait a moment and the word UPDATE will appear in the blue button, where you may have previously seen the word Open.

Press the blue button labeled UPDATE.
As the app updates, it will fill in the circle indicator. When the update is complete, the blue button will now read Open. This is the indication that the app has updated to the latest version.
- Click on the Open blue button to access the MarketTime Pro app.
Forced Update of mtPro
MarketTime has implemented a message to prompt users when they need to update their mtPro application.
When the app is slightly out of date, they will be greeted with a soft reminder that the app needs to be updated. They can continue to use the app as expected, but will be reminded that an update is needed.
When the app is running a version that is incompatible with recent changes, or is slightly out of date, they will be prompted with another message urging them to update mtPro. In this state, they can continue to use the app, but it will not sync to the cloud (or transmit orders) until the app is updated in the App Store.
When a user's app is on a version that it is no longer supported, they will get the message below. The user will not be able to use the app at all until it is updated.
