Batch and Deliver Orders

As a manufacturer, supplier, vendor, or brand using MarketTime to facilitate fulfillment, processing, shipments and payment processing of orders, Order Delivery Elite offers a variety of order batch and delivery tools to ensure orders flow seamlessly from MarketTime to your staff members processing orders or to deliver order batches to an SFTP location or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.

Before You Start

Before batching and delivering orders, please keep these things in mind:

  • You must use MarketTime's Order Delivery Elite product to take advantage of the features and capabilities outlined in this article.
  • Orders sent to you from a connected sales agency can take anywhere from 5 to 30 minutes to appear in your orders list after the order is transmitted from the sales agency
  • If you do not see an order after 30 minutes, please get in touch with the agency to ensure the order has been transmitted to your account

Order Batch Options

Connection Types

  • Orders can be delivered through any of these connection types and methods (you must pick one option for all order batches):
    • SFTP
    • HTTP In-Browser Download
    • NetSuite integration

Delivery Frequency

  • Scheduled: Order batches can be delivered on a recurring schedule (for example, hourly or daily) when your connection type is
    • SFTP
    • NetSuite integration
  • Ad-Hoc (On Demand): Order batches can be delivered ad-hoc (on Demand) for all connection types, including
    • SFTP
    • HTTP In-Browser Download (this option is only available on-demand)
    • NetSuite integration

Order File Formatting

Order batches can be delivered as:

  • Flat Files
  • Parent/Child (Header/Detail) Files

Order Types include:

  • .CSV
  • .TXT
  • .XML

How to Batch and Deliver Orders

Orders can be batched and delivered:

To Batch and Deliver Orders, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to Orders
  2. To batch all Open orders:
    1. Click More Actions
    2. Click Deliver Orders
    3. Click Deliver Order(s)
    4. Wait for the process to finish and show a green success message
    5. Retrieve the order batch
      1. SFTP Users: Retrieve the order from your SFTP location
      2. NetSuite Users: View the order in your NetSuite account
      3. HTTP In-Browser Download Users: Download and save the order batch file to your file system
  3. To batch and deliver a single order:
    1. Locate the order
    2. Click the blue arrow button
    3. Click Deliver Order from the list of options
    4. Click Deliver Order(s)
    5. Wait for the process to finish and show a green success message
    6. Retrieve the order batch
      1. SFTP Users: Retrieve the order from your SFTP location
      2. NetSuite Users: View the order in your NetSuite account
      3. HTTP In-Browser Download Users: Download and save the order batch file to your file system

How to View and Re-Deliver Order Batches

If you need to view or re-deliver an order batch at any time, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to Order Batches
  2. Locate the batch
  3. Click Deliver Order Batch
    (Note: Any batch that has not yet been delivered will not have a "Last Download" timestamp
  4. Retrieve the re-delivered order batch
    1. SFTP Users: Retrieve the order from your SFTP location
    2. NetSuite Users: View the order in your NetSuite account
    3. HTTP In-Browser Download Users: Download and save the order batch file to your file system
