How to set up Shipping Percent in MarketTime
- Navigate to Manage Company -> Advanced -> Locate the Shipping % box.
- Enter your shipping percent as a numerical value. (e.g., 5 for 5%).
- Click Save in the bottom right corner.

Q: Do we have to use it?
A: No, it is just an option for manufacturers that calculate shipping cost off of order total.
Q: What if we want to change the shipping cost on a specific order?
A: You will still have the option to edit the shipping charge on the order payment screen as you have previously. This option just auto-populates the number to save you time.
Q: Can sales reps or retailers see the shipping %?
A: No, the shipping rate is not visible during the order writing process. That is the same as it currently is. Shipping rates are not displayed during order writing.
Q: What if we are running a "Free Shipping" promotion?
A: The shipping charge can be edited during the order payment process to remove the auto-populated shipping cost.
Q: What if we are only shipping part of the order, or are charging less than the order total?
A: The shipping % is based on the amount being charged. If the charge amount is adjusted, the shipping cost dynamically changes to match the updated total.
Q: Why can't I add this option to my "Rep Group Managed" manufacturer account?
A: This option is only available for manufacturers that mange their own data.
