We've simplified the sales order experience in MarketTime Pro (mtPro) by removing the legacy Customer Number fields. Here's what you need to know.
What's Changed?
The Billing Customer Number and Shipping Customer Number fields have been removed from the following areas:
- Sales order view
- Edit Customer/Shipping Entry pages
- Order copies (printed/shared)
These fields were a legacy feature from Brandwise and are no longer used in MarketTime.
What Do I See Now?
The Account Number fields remain in place and continue to work as expected. If your manufacturer has an Account Number on file, it will still appear on printed order forms.
The old Customer Number fields (sometimes labeled "Bill To Customer #" or "Ship To Customer #") will no longer be visible anywhere in the app.
Why Was This Changed?
The legacy Customer Number fields were often confused with the newer Account Number fields. Since Customer Numbers are no longer used in MarketTime, removing them reduces clutter and makes orders easier to read.
Do I Need to Do Anything?
No action is required on your part. The change is automatic. Your orders, customer records, and account numbers are unaffected.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Will this affect my existing orders?
A: No. Your order data is unchanged. The fields are simply no longer displayed.
Q: Where do I find my Account Number?
A: Account Numbers are still visible on the sales order and on printed order copies when provided by the manufacturer.
Q: I used to reference the Customer Number field. What should I use instead?
A: Use the Account Number field. This is the active identifier used in MarketTime.
Q: Where will I see the changes?
A: The new, correct data will be displayed where the old fields were located.
The fields below are what is currently displayed.
- This is the legacy Brandwise field that is not utilized.
- The Account # that is currently used in MarketTime.

Q: Don't I use the numbers you are removing for manufacturer billing/shipping numbers?
A: No, this is a correction to make sure the information matches the web orders, and remove a field that was not being used in MarketTime. This duplicate field caused confusion with which field was the properly supported field. The fields now available will ensure the information on the web and mtPro are the same.
