This article will guide an Agency through the process of requesting a new vendor connection in Brandwise. Once connected through Passport, the agency will receive any product files the vendor uploads through Transit.
If you have a Reach 2.0 site, products uploaded through Transit will also auto-populate your site.
If you are a supplier/vendor/brand looking to connect to a Brandwise agency, please click HERE for more information. Agencies must request a connection before you will see them in your Passport.
Step 1:
To begin, go to e.brandwise.com and log in with your “100” admin credentials, or SFA100/MyBrandwise credentials depending on how you refer to them. These are the same credentials used when assigning licenses to users and placing their devices in road or show mode.
Click the Request Forms menu and select New Vendor. Enter your name and email address, Required fields are Corporation Name, Contact Name, City, State, Zip, and Email Address. The corporation name should be the “umbrella” name for this vendor. In a lot of cases this is the same as the brand name but not always. A vendor with multiple brands often has an umbrella name for their company with multiple brands that they distribute. In those instances, the actual brand name should be entered into the Corporation Name field. And then the actual distribution address, phone, email contact, and website. This will ensure we link your agency to the correct account.
Select Yes next to Supplier exist in database if you know they’re already working with other agencies in Brandwise or have their own Brandwise Play system. If you’re not sure, just select No. Then, click Submit Request. Requests made after 5 pm MT will be processed the following business day.
FOR AGENCIES MANAGING THEIR DATA ON A 100 SERVER: Once you’ve received a confirmation email that the vendor has been added to your system, bring the vendor into your Play system. You’ll do this as you always have in the past by hopping on your 100 server and clicking the Setup menu then Suppliers and then Suppliers again. Then, click the Add/Update Information From Brandwise.
Step 2:
Log in to your Brandwise Passport here. Switch to the Agency Passport by clicking the top right navigation menu.
Click the orange Add Business Connection button and select the vendor from the Supplier Name drop-down. *Note that it can take up to 24 hours for the vendor to display in the drop-down after they've been added. Enter the contact email you have on file for that Supplier and click Invite.
Once they have accepted your connection request, you’ll receive a confirmation email. If you don't receive the confirmation email within a few days, contact the Supplier to ensure they received your Passport connection request. If they didn't, it's possible that the email address associated with the Supplier's Passport differs from the one you entered when inviting the Supplier to connect. If that's the case, remove them as a pending connection, ask them which email should be used, and then send a new request.
