As you receive notification that you have new registrants to your B2B e-commerce website, MarketTime offers the ability to approve or reject them as needed.
What you'll learn
- How to approve or reject pending requests to access your B2B e-commerce website.
- How to reject previously-approved customers, preventing them from accessing your B2B e-commerce website.
- How to export the list of approved, rejected, or all customers who have or have had access to your B2B e-commerce website.
Upon login, if there are new pending customer registrants for your B2B e-commerce website, you will receive a pop-up:
If you've closed this pop-up or need to access the requests, it can be re-opened using the notification icon in the top-right corner of the screen on any page within MarketTime:
Additionally, they may be managed by clicking the B2B eCommerce option found under Settings in the Navigation Menu.
The B2B Web Registrants button will allow you to view all users that have registered to access your B2B website, with the ability to Reject users as needed, as well as export that list to an Excel file.
Approving Customers
To approve a customer, locate the pending request using one of the methods listed above.
Once located, click the blue "checkmark" icon to begin approval.
You will now be asked to choose a Division (1), and assign a Salesperson to the customer (2). Once complete, click the Finish button (3). This will notify the customer they've been approved to access your B2B e-commerce website, and will now appear as an Active customer within your company.
Rejecting Customers
In cases where you need to revoke access from a customer, the B2B Web Registrants button found on the B2B eCommerce page will allow you to do so.
Using the toggle in the top left corner, change your filter to Approved to view all approved customers.
From here, you may click the red "X" icon to the right of the customer you wish to reject.
Clicking this button marks the customer as "Rejected", and immediately revokes their right to access your B2B e-commerce website.
To re-approve a customer that's been rejected, use the filter to view Rejected customers, and use the associated "checkmark" icon to re-approve them.
Exporting a list of B2B Customers
Using a combination of the filter in the top left corner and the Export button found in the top right corner, you may choose what list of customers you'd like to export into an Excel sheet.
