The Salesperson Transfer feature provides thea bility to move Customers, their associated Orders and the Order Payment information (commissions) from one Salesperson to another Salesperson.

- How to transfer orders from one Salesperson to another
Navigate to the Salespeople page, the Transfer button will allow you to transfer data from one Salesperson to another.
Begin by entering in the name of the Salesperson you want to transfer orders/customers/commissions from.
At the bottom of the window, it will display the number of Customers, assigned orders, and Order Payments (commissions) assigned to the Salesperson you've chosen. This represents the data that will be modified, and updates as you make changes in the next section of the window.
You will come back to this section at the end.
Within the middle section of the window is where you'll choose specific Retailers (Customers), Manufacturers, or geographical areas to refine the data you'll be modifying.
All/Selected Retailers - All or selected customers chosen within this option will modify the Salesperson Assigned to the selected customers. This will remove visibility and access to these customers and all of their orders from the Salesperson selected at the top of the window and have them given to the Salesperson selected at the bottom of the window.
All/Selected MFRs - All or selected Manufacturers chosen within this option will only select Customers that have orders for the selected Manufacturers. This will remove visibility and access to these customers and orders for the Manufacturers chosen from the Salesperson selected at the top of the window and have them given to the Salesperson selected at the bottom of the window.
All/Selected Zipcodes - All or selected Zipcodes chosen within this option will only select Customers that reside within the Zipcodes/Salespeople territories selected. This option allows you to either select Zipcodes by Salesperson Territory (1), or by selecting specific Zip Codes (2).
This will remove visibility and access to the customers that exist within the selected Zipcodes or Salesperson Territories and all of their orders from the Salesperson selected at the top of the window and have them given to the Salesperson selected at the bottom of the window.
The final section of the window is where you'll choose who will receive the data you're removing from the Salesperson selected at the top of the window.
Customers - The Salesperson selected here will be become the newly assigned Salesperson on the customers selected above. They will now have access and visibility for these orders and the old Salesperson will not.
Order Salesperson Assigned - The Salesperson selected here will become the newly assigned Salesperson on the orders for the customers selected above. They will now have access and visibility for these orders and the old Salesperson will not.
Order Salesperson to Pay - The Salesperson selected here will become the newly assigned Salesperson to Pay on the orders for the customers selected above. This means the old Salesperson will no longer appear to be paid for the orders for the customers selected, and the new Salesperson is expected to be paid on them.
Order Payments - The Salesperson selected here will become the Salesperson on all Invoices for orders for the customers selected above. This means the old Salesperson will no longer appear as having been "paid" on these orders, and the new Salesperson will appear as having been "paid" on these orders.
For typical transfers, you will keep the original Salesperson set as the Order Salesperson to Pay and Order Payments the same as the Salesperson selected at the top of the window, as shown below:
This ensures that while you are transferring the customers and order history to the new Salesperson, the orders previously written by the old Salesperson still appear attributed to them for invoice/commission posting and reconciliation purposes.
When all selections have been made use the Transfer button to begin the transfer.
Once this has been initiated, it can NOT but undone. Please confirm your selections prior to clicking Transfer.
Once the transfer is complete, you will be asked how you wish to handle the old Salesperson.
Keep Both - This option keeps the old Salesperson as ACTIVE in your Salesperson listing, now without the data you chose to transfer.
Delete & Close - This option will delete the old Salesperson from your Agency.Exercise caution when using this option.
Deactivate & Close - This option will set the old Salesperson as INACTIVE in your salesperson listing, now without the data you chose to transfer.
