The Greeting Card Association understands the value of involving sales reps in the process of placing orders on the GCA Marketplace. To accommodate this, you will see changes to the way Stream looks in order to connect your orders with your sales reps and agencies.
While the dashboard itself may look different, the core functionality remains the same. You will continue to batch and print orders and process credit cards in the same manner as before.
The big difference you'll see is with Data Mapping. Orders placed on the GCA Marketplace will now have a number present in the 'Data Mapping' tile in the upper right-hand corner of your dashboard. The number in the tile equals the number of orders which need to be mapped to your sales reps or agencies.
When you click on the 'Data Mapping' tile, it will take you to the Data Mapping screen.
To connect your orders with the appropriate sales rep/agency, find the column named 'Agency Territory' on the far right of the grid. With each order, you will need to map to the respective sales rep or agency covering that territory.
In the screenshot above, the 'Agency Territory' section is selected, showing that there are 3 orders which need mapping.
You will also see that there are four data points from your orders which can be used to map to the correct sales rep/agency:
- Zip Code 2. City 3. State 4. Country
Working order by order, choose the appropriate rep/agency from the 'Agency' drop-down.
NOTE: If an agency covering a particular territory isn't currently using Brandwise, you will select 'None' in the 'Agency' drop-down on the 'Data Mapping' screen and the orders will continue coming directly to you from the Marketplace.
Example
Once you select the agency, a 'Mapping Screen' pop-up like the screenshot below will appear.
In this scenario, the first order to map is for “Eugene, OR 97402”. The 'Agency' we've selected is “Independent Ron” and the supplier is “Everything but Rain.”
The pop-up shows the four options for mapping this territory. Choose the option that best fits your territory breaks. PRO TIP: If you have one rep for the entire country, you might map to country, but if you have multiple reps in OR, you might choose to map to zip code only.
Once you have selected the desired mapping options, click 'OK' followed by the green “Save” button on the 'Data Mapping' screen.
Future orders placed through the Association Marketplaces will now be sent to Independent Ron based on your mapping choice.
NOTE: If a Rep or Sales Agency does not take the proper actions to get the orders into their system, these orders will be sent back to you after 3 business days, ensuring the order does not get delayed.
NOTE: Stream does not currently support email notifications. Our team is in the process of getting emails supported to continue notifying you of orders needing to be processed. We recommend that you check your Stream Console daily for orders.
