Video Overview
Adding New Rates
You can add a new entry for this Salesperson using the New button.
In the resulting window, you can begin by choosing the Manufacturer(s) for this entry (1).
If you wish to choose all Manufacturers, use the corresponding checkbox next to the Search field.
Next, you'll choose the corresponding Order Codes (2).
Over to the right, you'll choose the House and Salesperson to Pay's split for the Manufacturer/Order Codes you've chosen (3).
Finally, if you'd like to add an additional automatic split for cases where the Order Writer is not this Salesperson, you can set their rate in the far right column (4).
You will need to ensure that the column adds to 100%, so any amount you add to the Order Writer will need to be deducted from the Salesperson.
In the example above, if there is a situation where someone else writes one of Dennis' orders, he will only receive 50% commission, while the Order Writer will receive his remaining 10%.
Once finished with this entry, click Add to have it added to the Salesperson.
This can be repeated as many times as needed for each combination of Manufacturer and Order Code as needed!
Commission Effective Dates
Locate the Order Code/Manufacturer combination you wish to add this change to on the Comm % Settings tab with the "eyeball" icon:
In our example, we will increase this Salesperson from his usual 60% to 65% starting on 07/01/2024 and ending on 07/31/2024 to incentivize them to write more Show orders.
To accomplish this, locate the entry as shown above and use the "eyeball" icon to open it.
Use the Edit button next to the entry with no dates at the bottom of the window to edit the entry:
Using the Start and End date fields, enter the date range this change should be relevant to.
You should notice two rows at the bottom; the standard rate, shown with no dates (1) and the future/temporary/etc. rate you just created with the relevant dates (2).
Temporary rates can be deleted with the "trashcan" icon if needed.
