Scan product barcodes using a Bluetooth scanner to add items to an order on Play for iPad.
First, make sure to pair your Bluetooth scanner with your iPad in the General Settings.
Within an order, tap the Scan icon at the bottom to launch the Scanned Products screen. On this screen, you can edit the current ship date by tapping Edit, as well as add an additional ship date by tapping the (+) icon. You will only use this page for scanning barcodes. If you want to search by SKU or other product criteria, tap the Search icon instead and refer to this article.
Prior to scanning barcodes, make sure the scanner is paired using the general Bluetooth setting on your iPad, and that the cursor is blinking in the barcode field. Then, scan a product barcode to add it to the order. It will be added with the minimum quantity defined for that product, but you can tap the QTY field to adjust the quantity.
Use the plus or minus buttons to increase or decrease by the product multiple or manually enter a quantity using the number pad. To close the number pad, tap anywhere outside the dialog. Tap Remove Item to remove the item from the order.
