This task is done on the Check Log screen found under Order Payments in the Navigation Menu.
Video Overview
While on this screen, use the Balance Checks button to begin:
Within the resulting window, you will see all OPEN checks, including any that may be balanced.
Only check with no outstanding balance or difference may be balanced.
Checks eligible for balancing will have the Approve button available for you to click.
To balance multiple eligible checks, you may select your checks and use the Balanced Selected button at the top of the window.
Once balanced, the check will have it's status updated in the Check Log, and it may no longer be deleted.
The final step of the process is Paying your Salespeople.

How do I make an adjustment to a commission check in the check log?
You can do this two different ways:
Option 1
- Navigate to the Check Log
- Locate the check
- Click Edit
- Edit the check to have a different "Check Amount" than the "Commission Amount"
Option 2
- Navigate to the Check Log
- Click Balance Checks
- Locate the check
- Click into the Adjustment cell for the check
- Add the adjustment
- Click outside of the cell to save the new value
