What you'll learn
- How to select items to print scan-able barcodes for
- How to choose item by PO number to print scan-able barcodes
- How to choose the desired label size to print barcodes on
The ability to print barcodes for your items can be found on the Barcode Labels screen found under Maintenance in the Navigation Menu:
Here, you can select items to print barcodes for in one of two ways.
Selecting Items by PO Number
You will begin by entering in at least the first two characters of a PO number in the Select PO# field.
Once you click your order in the drop-down, the items from that order will appear.
Once the order's items appear, you may select your desired label size(1), what data appears with the barcodes (2), which UPC to actually use (UPC1 is what's imported with your data, and is often a true UPC number, while UPC3 is a uniquely-generated number that allows you to generate barcodes for items that weren't supplied with true UPC numbers) (3), and finally, choose the items you'd like to print barcodes for (4).
Once you've made your choices, click the Print button to view the results and save/print as desired.
Manually Selecting Items to Print
When the need arises to manually select items to print, you'll first need to filter by Manufacturer:
You may print ALL items from a Manufacturer by simply selecting the Manufacturer and clicking Print, without the need to select every item.
