Custom vs. Default Permissions
As an operations manager for a sales agency, when you need to ensure that user permissions in your account are set up correctly, you don't have time to click on every person to see their settings. To see when users have default vs. custom permissions, each user in your account will now display their status on the permissions button like this:
To see the default permissions available for users in your account, you can visit this help article for more information: What can be controlled by user permissions?

mtCharge with ACH (Digital Checks)
Suppliers using mtCharge can now process ACH (digital checks) directly within MarketTime! This capability supports pay-upon-ship POs, as well as scheduling for POs on net terms ("set it and forget it").
mtCharge with ACH empowers suppliers to extend the convenience of ACH payments to their customers. Best of all, mtCharge with ACH "just works" and does not require any change in how sales teams capture orders or customer payment details. Sales reps never have to ask a customer for bank details; the MarketTime system seamlessly manages the workflow, starting with sending an email notification to new customers on the supplier's behalf, guiding customers through a secure one-time bank setup, and allowing customers to choose their preferred payment methods.
In case the customer hasn't added a payment method, the supplier has the option to request a reminder to be sent to the customer when processing the order.
The customer receives a second email to add a bank account.
When a customer has multiple bank accounts already stored, they will be presented with the choice to select their preferred payment method.
Suppliers will see the payment Status on an order paid by the customer update from Processing to Success. Once a bank account is added, the retailer will no longer need to provide bank account information for future transactions with the agency.
mtCharge Ad-hoc Payment
Suppliers now have the capability to process ad-hoc credit card transactions within MarketTime using mtCharge, even if the charge is for an order generated outside of the MarketTime system. This new capability allows suppliers to benefit from mtCharge's efficient processes and competitive rates on any order, regardless of where the order originates.
To create an ad-hoc transaction, suppliers simply need to click on the "New" button located on the new Payments page. This page also conveniently displays all transactions processed through the mtCharge Gateway, offering a quick overview of your payment history.

Commissions
Commission Quick Entry
The Commission Quick Entry screen now allows for the Salesperson and Manufacturer columns to be sorted, delivering a consistent experience with other screens in the MarketTime portal.
Both the Salesperson and Manufacturer can be sorted A-Z and Z-A.
The Commission/Invoice Quick Edit screens will also now alert the user if Inv # entered is duplicated for the given manufacturer.
Sales Orders
Order History
As an operations manager for a sales agency, when you try to figure out how an order got messed up during a show, the problem is you have to rely on peoples' memories. This can make you feel helpless and frustrated, and it takes a long time to figure out what happened.
To alleviate these headaches, coming soon, you can now see an audit log of order history for every order in the MarketTime web app. This provides visibility into what was changed on order, when, and by whom. So you can talk to the right people and troubleshoot issues without waiting on MarketTime support for help.
Here's what this new feature looks like:
Custom Items
When writing a Sales Order for a manufacturer that manages their data, you will now only be able to add a Custom Item from the Finalize Order screen. The Save button will be disabled. This was done to ensure items were not being mistakenly added to the manufacturer's item list. To add a custom item on the Finalize Order screen, simply click the + Custom Item button, enter the Item Number and Name, Unit Price and Qty, and click + Add.
Fixed
- B2B: Resolved an issue where the Manufacturer filter was not set as expected.
- Salesperson Transfer Tool: Resolved an issue where the selected Customer count did not accurately reflect the selected customers for the transfer.
- Commissions: Resolved an issue where a check for one manufacturer could be tied to a PO# for a different manufacturer than that associated with the check.

Permission Visibility

If you would like to take complete control over user permissions in your sales agency account, please contact our Support Team at support@markettime.com to enable this feature in your account.
Items
As an operations manager for a sales agency, or an operations manager for a self-managed manufacturer, when salespeople write orders, sometimes they change the prices of items when they shouldn't. This can lead to disputes, confusion about item prices, and unexpected order totals.
To avoid this problem, we've updated manufacturer permissions in MarketTime to control who can change the prices of items on orders.
For users with these permission levels for Manufacturers:
- Self-Managed Manufacturers: Users can see items but not edit the prices
- Read Only: Users can see items but not edit the prices
- Read/Write: Users can view and edit item prices
- Disable Access: Users cannot view manufacturers or their items
For more information and a breakdown of what these permissions look like for salespeople, please look at this support article: User Access Permissions > Manufacturers.
Fixed
- Commission Quick Entry: We have resolved an issue where the commission quick entry window was not displayed correctly after creating a new direct order.
- Commission Checks: We have closed a loophole with commission checks that would allow the manufacturer on the check to be changed after commissions were posted.

Promotions Enhancement
Order writers can now edit or remove the promotions text within the Special Instructions field of their orders. Previously, users could not modify this content in that field. Before you delete the promotions text, It's important to confirm that your manufacturers do not require the promotion information for export to their ERP system.
Additionally, users can now modify the shipping method associated with a promotion without the entire promotion being removed. This feature provides greater flexibility to the order writer in managing shipping preferences while retaining promotional benefits.

mtCharge Status Update
This new feature allows suppliers to monitor the status of their transactions within the MarketTime or Stream application. With this improvement, you'll observe prompt transaction updates on the UI. For instance, your scheduled mtCharge net term transactions will now update to either "Success" or "Failed" on the user interface as the due date arrives. Brandwise users will notice a new column titled "Last Pay Status" in Stream, which will display the most recent transaction status for your orders.
Furthermore, any transaction failures will be accompanied by a clear and concise error message, providing valuable insights into the reason for the unsuccessful transaction. These enhancements aim to elevate your mtCharge experience.
Stream users can click on a "Failed" row to view the corresponding error message at the top of the table. The selected row will be highlighted in blue, indicating it as the active row.

Duplicate Invoice Warnings
As a commission manager for a sales agency, when adding new direct orders and invoices when paying commissions, sometimes you mistakenly enter an invoice already in the system. This is frustrating because then you have duplicate invoices, and finding and fixing them can be a pain.
We have improved the messaging and alerts in the MarketTime web app to inform you when you're about to create a duplicate invoice. Anytime you see a red exclamation point icon next to an "Invoice #" field, that's your heads up that an invoice with the same invoice number for this manufacturer already exists:
Missing Salesperson to Pay Warning When Balancing Checks
As a commission manager for a sales agency, when you try to balance checks, it's critically important to know when an invoice or commission is missing the salesperson to pay. Before today, if you balanced a check and a salesperson to pay was missing from a commission, you would have to contact MarketTime support to re-open the check. Who has time for that when it's close to the end of the month, and you're under the wire to finish commissions?
To help prevent missing salesperson to pay information on balanced checks, we've added a new warning message that allows you to download the list of any affected invoices/commissions:
Fixed
- mtView: We have resolved an issue preventing certain users from viewing mtView reports.

Commission Import
- We have resolved an issue where commission importing would fail with an error of "System failed to verify order payment import" and invoices were not successfully imported.
- We have also resolved an issue where commissions were not being imported after resolving "Multiple Orders exist with given PO Number" errors on the import preview screen.
- Salesperson to Pay on Imported Orders: We have resolved an issue where the salesperson to pay was not correctly recorded on imported orders, which caused problems when using the Salesperson Transfer Tool and paying commissions.
- Manufacturer Selection On Commission Quick Entry: We have resolved an issue where the Manufacturer dropdown on the commission quick entry window was being cleared out unexpectedly after creating a new direct order.

Invoice and Commission Improvements for Sales Agencies
Import Commissions
Column Mapping
As a commission manager for a sales agency, when you import commissions and map columns from a manufacturer's commission statement, it was easy to map the same column twice. This led to confusion and extra columns appearing on the import preview step.
We've improved the "Map Columns" step of the importer to make it easier to pick the right columns every time:
Missing Invoice Number Alerts
As a commission manager for a sales agency, when you import large commission statements, you don’t always notice when an invoice number is missing. It's difficult, if not impossible, to scan through thousands of rows and see a single missing piece of information. To make it easier to spot when an invoice number is missing, so you can catch the problem early and deal with it during the import preview, you will now see an alert like this:
Transfer Invoices
As a commission manager for a sales agency, when you import or add invoices manually, you may sometimes add the invoice to the wrong order. This can leave you feeling frustrated. Our system now offers you an easy way to move the invoice to the correct order with a few clicks:
- Navigate to the Commission Quick Entry screen for the PO number that has the incorrect invoice
- Look for the invoice you want to transfer and click the transfer icon (two arrows icon)
- Search for and select the Destination PO Number
- Click Select PO Number
- Verify the Invoice Details and Destination PO Number are correct
- Click Transfer
That's it! You don't need to delete the invoice and re-add it to the correct PO number.
Fixed
- Unassigned Customers and Shipping Locations: We have resolved an issue where newly-added shipping locations for customers were becoming unassigned if an older shipping location had been previously deleted.
- Minimum Quantities on Item Imports: We have resolved an issue where items failed to import if the file was missing minimum quantity values.
- Commission Page Filters: We have resolved an issue where filters used on the commissions page were not reset after editing an order.
- Unapproved Customers: Unapproved customers will no longer appear in the customer search results when correcting a "Customer Not Found for Invoice" error when importing commissions.
- Invoice Amount and Commission Amount Errors During Import: We have resolved an issue where invoice amount and commission amount errors and warning messages were not shown in the import preview screen when importing commissions.

Improved Commission Import Success Message
As a sales agency commission manager, it's nice to know when everything gets imported with no errors when you import commissions. Before today's release, the system didn't tell you when everything was imported successfully. You were left wondering, "Did the import work?". To help with this, we've added a message to the commission importer to let you know when the import is successful.
Preauthorize Funds With mtCharge
We are happy to announce the launch of the Preauthorization functionality, an exciting new enhancement to our mtCharge payment gateway. This innovative feature empowers manufacturers on mtCharge to securely reserve funds in a customer's credit card. By doing so, we provide an added layer of confidence and assurance to our manufacturers, ensuring they will receive timely payment for their orders.
If you are using mtCharge and would like this feature enabled, please contact dbrooks@markettime.com
Hotspot Editor Improvement
When you are hotspotting a catalog in MarketTime, you will now see a new icon when clicking on a hotspot. This new icon will now allow you to see what product is linked to the selected hotspot. This is a great way to double-check hotspots, in the event something got tagged incorrectly.

Enhanced Top Items Page: Reorder Freely and Set Item Display
Manufacturers can now freely reorder their Top Items without pagination limitations. We enhanced the Top Items page by offering the option to choose the number of items displayed (50, 100, 150, 200, View All). This flexibility enables you to drag and position any item within the list, regardless of its location on the page.
Catalog Improvements
Ability to edit hotspots and links in an existing catalog
As a Manufacturer or Rep Group user managing catalogs, once a catalog has been published with the assigned hotspots there is no way to edit the existing catalog in the event not all products/pages were hotspotted, or there were mistakes that needed to be corrected with existing hotspots. We have now introduced a way to edit a catalog to quickly make changes/corrections, or simply pick up from where you left off.
Note: Once an existing catalog has been edited and saved, the system will ask you to name the catalog once more. Due to how the hotspots are saved, a second PDF is uploaded with the additional hotspots when a catalog is edited. You can delete the original, incomplete/incorrect catalog from the Documents Library after the upload is complete.

Commission Import
As a commission manager, when you're importing a commission statement, you will now see an alert on the screen when an invoice is missing a PO number, so you can fill in the missing information during the import instead of having to wait for the error report and spending extra time adding the invoice later.
Here's an example of the “Invalid or Empty PO Number” error during the import preview:
Commission Checks
Balance Checks View
As a commissions manager, when you balance checks, it's critical to see all check-related information to ensure the commission and check amounts match down to the penny. To help with this task, we've added a few more columns to the "Balance Checks" view, including:
- (Date) Received
- Check Amount
- Statement (Month and Year)
Unposted Invoices
As a commissions manager, you want to see which invoices and commissions aren’t posted to a check yet. To make this task easier, we've updated the terminology on the "Invoices/Commissions" page
From "Invoiced Orders Only" → To "Unposted Invoices Only to clear up any potential confusion about what will happen when you select and unselect this checkbox to filter the list of invoices:
Split Commissions
As a commission manager, you always need to be able to see when there are split commissions on an invoice, even after the invoice and check are paid out. You will now be able to see the split commission on an invoice, regardless of order or check status:
Direct Orders
As a commissions manager, when you need to add multiple invoices to a new direct order, the system used to have an annoying habit of kicking you out of the screen after you added the first invoice. We've improved the process of adding a new direct order, so you can decide whether to stay on the screen or close it after creating a new direct order.

The mtCharge Orders & Payment Details is a report for Manufacturers that displays all mtCharge orders and payment details in a selected timeframe. This report provides detailed information about the manufacturers, retailers, and salespeople assigned to each mtCharge order.

Invoice, Commission, and Check Improvements
Commission Import Tool
Improvements to the commission import tool are also part of this release, including these new capabilities:
- Improved Matching of Invoices to Existing PO Numbers
- Pre-Fill PO Search with PO# from Preview Screen
- $0 Commission Warning in Import Commission Error Log
- $0 Invoice Warning in Import Commission Preview
Improved Matching of Invoices to Existing PO Numbers
As a commissions manager for a sales agency, when you import commission statements, it can take a lot of time and effort to match invoices to PO#s. Time sucks like this are not ok!
Enhancements to the commission import tool include:
- The commission importer automatically matches invoices to unique PO numbers already in MarketTime (so you don’t have to match each invoice yourself!)
- If the importer can’t determine the correct PO Number for the invoice, the system will let you select the correct order using our embedded PO search tool.
This will make it faster and easier to get commissions into MarketTime. So you don't have to touch things that are an exact match, and you can fix any errors during the import process with less time, effort, and clicks.
Required Columns
We have also loosened the required columns that must be included in commission statements. The required columns are:
- PO Number
- Invoice Number
- Invoice Date
- Invoice Amount
- Commission Amount
In the example below, the commission statement uses these five data points to auto-match invoices to existing, unique PO numbers. So you don't have to touch them again!
Pre-Fill PO Search with PO# from Preview Screen
As a commission manager for a sales agency, when you're searching for a PO number during commission import, we've streamlined this process so that the PO number pre-fills into the PO search pop-up. No more annoying copy and paste or trying to move windows out of the way to check that you're looking at the correct PO number.
$0 Commission Warning in Import Commission Error Log
As a commission manager, when you download the error report generated after a commission import, you'll see any invoices with a $0.00 or blank commission amount in the report, so you can evaluate these invoices and decide the next steps.
$0 Invoice Warning in Import Commission Preview
As a commission manager, when importing invoices and commissions, you'll also see a warning during the import preview (step #3) whenever any invoices have a $0.00 or blank invoice amount so you can evaluate them and decide how to handle them.
Check Lists
We have made several improvements to check list displays in the MarketTime web app, including:
Check Amounts in Dropdowns
As a commissions manager, when you post invoices/commissions to checks, work with check logs, or balance checks, when different check amounts display on each page and pop up, you only sometimes know if you're looking at the right check. We have improved the consistency of how check-related information is displayed so you always see the same amounts and totals across all pages and dropdowns.
The amounts and information you will see include:
- Check Number
- Date Received
- Commission Amount
- Remaining Amount
Check Statuses in Dropdowns
As a commissions manager, when you're selecting checks while posting commissions or adding direct orders, it used to be easy to choose the wrong check from the list because the check status wasn't showing. Even though you might have the check numbers memorized, you need an easier way to tell the difference between " Open " checks vs. "Balanced" checks.
Now, you'll see headings in any list of checks, so it's easy to see which ones have which status.
Filter Commissions by Check Status
As a commission manager, when you're finishing up monthly commissions, we've made it easier to view and filter for invoices and commissions tied to checks with any status. You'll be able to filter invoices and commissions by check status, including:
- Open
- Balanced
- Rep paid
- Complete
Check Logs
The check log also has several improvements, including:
- All Check-Related Columns Display on Check Log
- Negative Values are Red and Positive Values are Green
- Right Align Dollar Amounts in Check Log and Balance Checks List
- Auto-Generate Unique Check Numbers
All Check-Related Columns Display on Check Log
As a commissions manager for a sales agency, when you're paying commissions each month, it's vital that you can see all check-related information on the check log, including any checks with adjustments or with a remaining balance. We have updated the check log with additional columns, so you don't have to click another button to see all check amounts and totals.
The columns we've added to the check log include:
- Adjustment
- Total Comm.
- Posted
- Remaining
Negative Values are Red and Positive Values are Green
As a commission manager for a sales agency, when you scan the list of remaining balances on the check log, the problem was that negative values were green and positive values were red. This was a little confusing. We've updated the colors of check values to better align with other accounting software and Excel.
Right Align Dollar Amounts in Check Log and Balance Checks List
As a commission manager for a sales agency (and an accountant at heart), when you scan the check log or balance check list, you want to quickly scan for dollar amounts that look too small or too large. We've updated the check amounts to be right (decimal) aligned so it's easier to scan and view check amounts and totals.
Auto-Generate Unique Check Numbers
As a commission manager for a sales agency, when you add a new check for a manufacturer, the system can auto-generate a check number. Before today's release, the system wasn't generating unique numbers. When you use this feature staring today, the system will generate unique check numbers so there are no duplicates.

MT Promotions Now Available in Stream for Suppliers
Promotions will now be seamlessly integrated into Stream. This is helpful for manufacturers who use Stream to view all their MarketTime and Brandwise orders in one place.
Invoicing Incomplete Orders
As a Commissions Manager, when an order is incomplete and missing key information such as order code or payment method, you'll now see a warning before attempting to add an invoice:
The Direct Order Only Customers report displays direct orders by customer. This report give all direct orders listed by customer bill to and salesperson for your sales agency.
The Sales Agency Orders Outstanding report displays outstanding invoice balances. This report displays which orders have an outstanding invoice balance and how many invoices are tied to each PO number.

Commission Enhancements
Do you enjoy seeing errors when importing commission statements? We didn't think so!
To make it easier to match invoices to existing customers and existing PO numbers already in MarketTime, we've added a few new tools to make those pesky import errors disappear.
PO Number Search
Commission statements don't always have PO numbers formatted the same way in the Excel or .CSV file as the PO number appears in MarketTime. There may be missing dashes, missing numbers, or other modifications to the PO number that cause you to see this error during import: "Error: Order not marked as Direct or No orders exist with the given PO Number."
This error means the importer can't detect a pre-existing PO number for that same manufacturer and customer. If that PO number is already in the system, or you suspect it's already in the system, and this isn't a new direct order, you can use the new PO number search tool to find the existing order.
Customer Search
Commission statements also sometimes have unique spellings of customer names, right? There may be extra letters, commas, or unusual spellings that don't match what's in your MarketTime account. You'll see this error in these cases: "Error: Customer not found for the Invoice."
This error means we can't detect a pre-existing customer using the commission statement's spelling. If that customer is already in the system, you can use the new customer search tool to find the existing customer and make the error disappear.
Click on the customer name, and search for the right customer:
Duplicate PO Numbers
When you import a new commission statement, and there are duplicate PO numbers already in MarketTime for different orders or customers, you'll see these invoices included in the error report with the message:
"Multiple orders exist with the given PO Number."
Coming soon, you'll also see these invoice alerts during the invoice import preview (Step #3) so you can decide what action you'd like to take before finishing the import process.
Posting Commissions to Checks
You should also notice improvements to your workflow when posting commissions to checks. These improvements include:
Posting Invoices to Open Checks Only
We have added a warning message to the Invoice/Commission screen to prevent you from posting commissions to Balanced. Here's what you'll see when this happens:
Posting Commissions With Different Rates and Amounts
When commissions have different rates or amounts, posting them to checks from the Invoice/Commission screen was challenging. We've changed that and made it easy as one-click to post commissions with variable rates and amounts to checks.
For one check, each commission has a different rate and amount. Click the "Post" box for each invoice to post to the selected check. Here's an example of this in action:
Retain Commission Rates and Amounts When Un-Posting Commissions from Checks
When you post commissions and choose the wrong check by mistake, the problem was that all the commission rates would reset when you re-posted the commission to the correct check. Then you'd have to re-enter all the rates or re-open every invoice and change the check, which takes a long time!
Now, the commission rates stick, even when you change the check associated with the commission.
Commission Rates on New Direct Orders
Before today's release, when you entered a commission rate during quick entry, this rate didn't carry over when you made new direct orders. But the rate did carry over when you added commissions for orders already in the system. This caused you to spend extra time when entering direct orders.
With today's release, the commission rate you enter will not be reset when adding a new direct order, just like it does when adding commission to an existing order.
Deactivating Salespeople
As a sales agency admin, when a salesperson leaves or retires, when you change this salesperson to "Inactive," it can be easy to forget to reassign their customers to another salesperson. We're now offering an easy way to reassign customers, orders, and order payments when you experience changes in salesperson statuses.
The next time you go to a salesperson's profile page and click the Inactive button, you'll see this option:
If you click Yes, then you'll have the option to transfer customers, orders, and order payments from the inactive salesperson to an active salesperson, if you prefer:
Sales Comparison Report
The Sales Comparison report is now available for Sales Agencies in mtView. This report will give you a customer comparison between this year and last year along with a ranking of your top customers.

Promotions Enhancements
When setting up promotions in MarketTime, you want those promotions to flow directly to your orders. Until now, promotions have appeared in the Special Instructions of each order but have not shown in the order total.
With this release, promotions will now apply to the dollar amount shown on an order and listed in the Special Instructions for reference. This release also adds the ability to link a shipping offer to a promotion. If you want to offer Free Freight to a customer that spends $1,000, MarketTime makes that easy.
MarketTime recommends ensuring that each Promotion entered only reflect a single deal / discount. Cases where there are multiple tiers to a single promotion (e.g. spend $500, get 5% off; spend $1,000, get 10% off) will result in a misassigned promotion since each promotion can only have one Amount to Meet for it to auto-apply.
MarketTime's integrated platform lets you set a promotion and send it to all your order channels. This includes orders written on the MarketTime web app, mobile app, and buyer's orders on your B2B ecommerce site.
Auto Apply Promotions Directly To Order Totals
Promotions now display directly in Order Totals (not just in the Order Notes)
When you add a promotion to an order, it will now be displayed in the order confirmation itself below the subtotal in addition to the order notes.
Automatically Apply Promotions to MarketTime and B2B Website Orders
When you set up a new promotion, you can auto-apply that promotion to any order that qualifies based on the start and end dates and the dollar amount to meet.
Apply Shipping and Freight Promotions Directly to Orders
When you go to set up a new promotion, you now have the option to apply a shipping method to that promotion. So if you would like to offer free freight or another shipping option, you can add that here.
See how the new Promotion enhancements work in the video below:
To learn more about managing promotions, please take a look at our support articles for manufacturers here and for agencies here.

Duplicated Items Show When Importing Items into MarketTime
Say goodbye to concerns about importing erroneous data. With the latest update, importing items in MT allows you to identify duplicates easily. When our import detects a duplicate item, a notice will appear in the preview table, indicated by a red exclamation mark. To view the list of duplicated items, click on the mark or enable the "Filter Duplicate by Item Number" option. You can edit the item number by clicking inside the item number box or remove the duplicated item altogether. This enhancement ensures a seamless importing experience and helps maintain data accuracy.
Commission Enhancements
We've made three new enhancements to invoices and commissions, including:
Filter to View Only Errors/Warnings in the Commission Import Preview
Previewing invoices and commissions during the import process can be overwhelming, and it can take time to focus on the items that need your attention. We've made narrowing down the items with warnings and errors easier by adding a filter to the import preview. You can ignore the matching invoices and instead fix the invoices with errors.
Here's what this new filter looks like:
Alerts When a Required Column is Missing From Commission Import File
As a commissions manager for a sales agency, when you upload a commission statement that’s missing a required column, your import file can't be uploaded to our system. The system will now give you an alert message explaining why the file can't be uploaded and the name of the missing column, so you can try the import again after you've updated the file.
Missing Salespeople Display on Commissions List
When there is no salesperson to pay on a commission, it can be difficult to spot the missing name in the list of commissions. We've removed the placeholder text that used to appear, so now it's easier to scan the list of commissions to see when a salesperson's name is missing. And you can always sort by the "SP to Pay" column to view all commissions without salespeople together.
Has Not Purchased Item Report now available for Sales Agencies. This report will show users all customers who have yet to purchase an item or a list of items within a specified date range.
Salespeople now have access to the Sales Analysis Dashboard. The Sales Analysis Dashboard will display up to four levels of data fields tied to the Number of Orders, Order Total Value, and Average Order Value. This customizable report will give you order totals based on 19 selectable criteria.

Auto Apply Promotions to Orders
The Auto Apply feature allows the promotions to auto apply to orders that qualify. To activate this functionality for a specific promotion, select "Yes" in the auto apply field when creating a new promotion. If you wish to disable auto apply, you can access the Allow Promotion Auto Apply option on the Advanced tab of the Manage Company screen. This will deactivate this feature for all promotions. To learn more about managing promotions, please see our support articles for manufacturers here and for agencies here.
Variant Quantities now update the Total Quantity for a Product
The variant quantities now increase the quantity shown for a selected item:
Item Imports now run in the background for large files
If you are importing a product file larger than 10,000 items, MarketTime will now allow those imports to run in the background instead of having to wait for the file to finish processing.
Invoice/Commission Notes
As a commission manager, you need to see when there are internal notes on invoices and commissions. We have improved how these notes are displayed for completed orders and checks. You can now see notes at all times, regardless of order, invoice, or check status. Here's what this looks like:
Primary Reps Get a Gold Star
As an operations manager or other back office user of MarketTime, it can be hard to quickly see who is the primary salesperson when you look at customers shared among multiple salespeople. To make it easier to see the primary salesperson, you'll now see a gold star next to the name of the primary salesperson for customers and their locations.

Commission Rate Improvements
We've improved how commission rates are displayed on various pages throughout the MarketTime web application. The improvements include:
Commission Rates Now Display on the Order Codes Table
If you navigate to Settings > Order Settings, you'll now see the commission % (rate) displayed for each order code in the list:
Commission Rates Display with Decimals on Commissions Lists
This means that:
- Before: A commission rate of 6.31% would show as 6%
- Now: The commission rate will show as 6.31%
So you no longer have to click into each invoice to see the full commission rate. Here's a screenshot showing this change:
Commission Import Improvements
Warnings For $0 Commissions When Importing
When importing commission statements, the commission amount can be $0. When you import commissions, you'll see a warning any time there's a $0 commission amount for an invoice. Like shown here:
Warnings for Duplicate Invoices when Importing Commissions
We've added more messaging to the import commissions process to alert you when you're about to import a duplicate invoice so orders are not overpaid.
Order Total Editing
You will now be able to edit the order total when you add invoices and commissions when you only have order totals for the invoices. You can easily update the order total on summary orders and line item orders like you can on direct orders using the "pencil" icon:
Three new reports added to mtView
The Daily Sales report displays all orders on a given day and compares that day's sales to the current month to date, last year's month to date and year to date values.
The Retailers by Salesperson Dashboard displays all retailers assigned to a sales rep over a defined period of time.

Salesperson Transfer Tool
As a sales agency admin, when salespeople retire, leave, or when new salespeople are hired, you want to save time moving customers and orders manually in MarketTime. You'd also prefer to make these changes quickly and not wait for MarketTime support to handle this task when you can tackle it yourself.
That's why we have improved the "Salesperson Transfer Tool" to provide an easy way to move orders, customers, and order payments, including situations where you want to:
- Leave customers with the original salesperson and only move orders to a new salesperson
- Leave orders with the original salesperson and only move customers to a new salesperson
- Only move payments, and leave customers and orders on the original salesperson
- Move orders and customers, and leave payments on the original salesperson
The tool handles all of the above!
To learn more about this tool and how to use it, please visit our help article: Transfer Order History between Salespeople.
Three new reports added to mtView
The Sales Analysis Dashboard will display up to four levels of data fields tied to Number of Orders, Order Total Value and Average Order Value. This customizable report will give you order totals based on 19 different selectable criteria.
The Customer Book will display the details of any Retailer including their Bill To, Ship To, and Contact Information. This report will also display their order history based on the dates selected.
The Bookings Pivot Report displays all orders by retailer by month.

CVV is now a Requirement for mtCharge Orders
To assure smooth payment processing through mtCharge in Markettime, we have improved our app to require a CVV for credit card orders intended for manufacturers configured for mtCharge.
Import Multiple Invoices for the Same Direct Order
As a commission manager, when a direct order is split into two or more shipments, you may receive a commission statement that has two or more invoices (one for each shipment). Before today, when you would import those invoices, the system would create two separate orders, instead of one order with two invoices.
With this improvement you'll be able to:
- Import two or more invoices for a single, new direct order
- Add additional invoices to that same direct order later

Introducing mtCharge
MarketTime now has its own payment processor. Suppliers and Sales Agencies can now:
- Accept all major credit cards
- Enable buyers to save multiple cards in a secure digital wallet
- Process payments directly within MarketTime / Brandwise
- Add shipping and miscellaneous costs as needed
- Charge multiple payments against each P.O.
- Works seamlessly with your sales reps existing tools

Previously the PO prefix was pulled from the "Salesperson Assigned"
