MarketTime Pro (mtPro) differs a bit with how it displays Order Statuses as compared to the Web App (https://apps.markettime.com). This article provides a quick explanation of each status as it relates to MarketTime Pro.
For more information about the statuses found in the Web App (https://apps.markettime.com) see our dedicated article on them.
Order Statuses can be found in various places within both the Web App and MarketTime Pro, but the most common locations and examples are shown below:
Web App
These statuses are seen by going to Orders > View Orders from the Navigation Menu.
MarketTime Pro
These statuses can be seen on the Find Orders screen from the Home Screen.
Status in Web App | Status in MarketTime Pro | Definition | Notes |
Incomplete |
Pending |
An Incomplete order is an order that's still in-progress and hasn't been Finalized. Incomplete orders can not be sent to the Manufacturer. A Pending order is an order that's still in-progress and hasn't been Finished. |
Incomplete orders only exist in the Web App and can't be synced to MarketTime Pro. Pending orders currently only exist on the device it was began on. |
Open |
HFC |
An Open order is an order that has all required fields complete, making it eligible for transmission. HFC (short for Hold for Confirmation) is typically the second status/step chosen after Finishing orders in MarketTime Pro. |
Open orders can be transmitted to the Manufacturer via the Web App when desired. More information on transmitting single or multiple orders can be seen in our articles on the subject. HFC usually signifies that you're awaiting Customer review of their order(s). Traditionally, the status that has been used for this purpose is "quote" in MarketTime. |
Quote |
Quote |
Quote is an optional status in the Web App and MarketTime Pro that can be used to send to the Customer for review. | When sending, the email that the Customer receives says "Here is your Quote". |
Confirmed |
Confirmed |
Confirmed status can be used to signify to the back office that the customer has reviewed the order and is ready to transmit. |
At this time, Confirmed status can only be used on MarketTime Pro, and on the Transmit Orders screen for its intended functionality (see THIS ARTICLE). |
Transmitted |
Confirmed
|
This is an order that has been transmitted to the Manufacturer. |
Re-transmitting an order will send a notification to the Manufacturer that the order has been updated, but MarketTime recommends always following up with the Manufacturer for confirmation of the changes. |
Cancelled |
Cancelled |
This status is discretionary, but usually indicates the order has been cancelled by a party involved with the order. |
When a Manufacturer updates the status to CANCELLED, the Salesperson on the order is notified. When a Salesperson updates the status to CANCELLED, the Manufacturer is notified, and the Salesperson is given an opportunity to add a note when doing so. |
Paid |
Confirmed |
This status appears when an admin user has run the Company Commission Summary, verifying the pay period which this order appears in is correct. |
|
Rep Paid |
Confirmed |
This status appears when an admin user has run the Salesperson Commission Summary, verifying this pay period’s numbers are correct for each Salesperson, and usually indicated impending payment (consult your admins in regards to actually being paid). |
|
Complete |
Closed |
This status signifies that the order has completed the "lifecycle" of an order, has been paid, and can be locked, preventing future edits to it or it's attached invoices. |
